We only collect user profile and email data. It is the bare minimum user data allowed to be collected.

Why are we requesting Google user data?

We collect the user profile and email data so that we can automatically handle accounts and email notifications for schools who are also G Suite organizations.

Leveraging this basic Google user data allows us to save many hours of work for the technology administrators in these existing G Suite organizations.

It also allows us to notify all users of upcoming scheduled events within our system and to remind all users of actions needing to be addressed in a timely manner.
